Science, Technology and Innovation Week - Addis Ababa, 9-13 December 2013

STI week shows the role of Science and Technology in Africa’s development in commemoration of the AU 50th anniversary. Activities planned are:

  • Forum on raising STI profile;
  • Workshop on African Research and Innovation Council;
  • 7th International Conference of the African MRS;
  • Public lecture by Prof. Robert H. Grubbs, 2005 Nobel Laureate in Chemistry
  • Kwame Nkrumah Regional Award Ceremony
  • Science Technology and Innovation Showcase

FRIDAYS OF THE COMMISION on the 13th of December 2013 where Prof Adigun Ade Abiodun, the chair Steering Committee African Leadership Conference (ALC) will deliver a lecture on the contribution of space to the AU agenda 2063.
